NATIONAL COUNCIL OF ARCHITECTURAL REGISTRATION BOARDS (NCARB)
NCARB protects public health, safety, and welfare by leading the regulation of the practice of architecture through the development and application of standards for licensure and credentialing of architects. NCARB certification facilitates reciprocity between jurisdictions, thus allowing Stephen Brown Architects to secure licensure throughout the United States.

UNITED STATES GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL (USGBC)
LEED certification by The United States Green Building Council (USBGC) provides verification that a building or community is designed, built, and maintained using strategies to achieve higher performance in areas of environmental + human health, sustainable site development, water-use reductions, energy efficiency, materials selection, stewardship of resources, and indoor environmental quality.

GREEN BUILDING CERTIFICATION INSTITUTE (GBCI)
GBCI develops and administers the LEED accredited professional (LEEP AP) credential exams, including LEED AP with specialty credentials, such as LEED AP BD+C (building design + construction) as well as the LEED for Homes Green Rater, and LEED Project Reviewer professional certificates.
GBCI also oversees the Credential Maintenance Program (CMP) for LEED professionals. Continuing education keeps LEED professionals at the forefront of the green building industry, driving ongoing excellence in the marketplace and ensuring that LEED professionals are the most qualified in the field.
